# create\_namespace 方法

## 简要

创建一个新的命名空间。

```python
def create_namespace(self,
    region_id: str,
    namespace_name: str,
    namespace_description: str = None
)
```

## 参数

该方法的参数和参数描述如下：

| 参数                     | 类型  | 必选 | 描述                   |
| ---------------------- | --- | -- | -------------------- |
| region\_id             | str | 是  | 创建的命名空间所在数据中心的唯一标识符。 |
| namespace\_name        | str | 是  | 创建的命名空间名称。           |
| namespace\_description | str | 否  | 创建的命名空间描述正文。         |

## 返回值

该方法没有返回值。

## 异常

该方法可能会主动引发以下异常：

#### ValueError

参数值或类型不符合预期。

#### ActionError

Tencent Cloud API 错误。例如访问凭据无效、给定命名空间已存在等均会引发该异常。
